Silk Dresses framed by Modern Dubai Architecture

About the Editorial shoot
The duo Iga & Greg shot Shrekahnth’s editorial in Dubai. The rich city setting of Dubai’s architecture, which features silk dresses in contrast, is breathtaking. The editorial was shot in DIFC and Downtown Burj Dubai – Dubai, UAE. It featured modern Architectural elements, under-constructed flyovers, and textured concrete. This all makes Dubai’s fashion editorial quite exquisite.
The styles include handwoven silk dresses, barrel-cut and draped silhouettes, and embroidered textures. A standout look is a bubble dress. It is made from circular and barrel-cut panels. The dress features a print that resembles broken glass textures. Another look features a high-collared cape in soft pinks with jellyfish-inspired prints. The collection fuses structure with softness. It includes tailored jackets and pleated skirts in handwoven textiles from Varanasi, India. It also has Grecian-style tunics. These tunics have delicate draping and subtle embellishments with Swarovski crystal elements.
The photographers picked the outdoor locations for their visual contrast. Exposed concrete and grey tones set the stage for smooth silk dresses and fine craftsmanship. Unfinished pillars add to this striking contrast. This enhances the styles without overshadowing them. Each frame balances material, form, and space. It captures the garments as they move and interact with the Dubai Architecture.
